President-elect Donald Trump and President Barack Obama have been in regular communication, a top Trump aide said Sunday. Asked on NBC's "Meet the Press" about who Trump was consulting on Cuba policy, senior adviser Kellyanne Conway replied: "He's even been talking to President Obama. You know, beyond the sit-down they had 30 hours or so after President-Elect Trump won the election, they've been talking regularly on any number of issues. They talked just yesterday." Conway said they spoke for about 45 minutes Saturday, but declined to say what else they talked about. Trump enjoys talking with Obama, despite their disagreements, she said.

Trump is going into the job and needs information only the sitting POS has. Nothing wrong here.
That’s none of Obama’s business anymore. There is no reason to tell or explain anything to him. Let him worry about it.
Are you sure you have a minimal understanding of the complicated dynamics involved in Trump’s transition?
Trump keeps giving him all the rope he needs because the longer it gets, the easier it is to get snagged on something easily overseen.
“He may turn out to be a great president. But then again, maybe he wont”
Reminds me of the caliber of decision-making we would see in Jeb Bush and his supporters.
Talk is cheap...you must not understand human behavior like Trump obviously does
Good point.
What? This is Kellyanne talking.
Yes, I have previously said as much on FR previously, not that long ago. Its a complex process, but Trump has a lot of smart people around him to help him understand and deal with those dynamics.
Again, I ask, what is there to gain by talking with Obama other than learning to do the exact opposite of whatever he says. Obama’s party has suffered devastating political losses during his tenure, courts have rejected his unilateral actions, nearly every major federal agency has been involved with scandals during his administration, he has abused executive orders, and he has spent the country into a disastrous $20 trillion national debt. Would you ask a loser for advice?
Obama had a long talk with GWBush about things that were non policy. Bush “I told him he has a 30 second commute after work to get home to see his family.” Obama has noted over the years that was one of the best items of advice he’d rec’d his entire presidency.
Similar things are going on now.
Trump , “ Have you moved out yet”?
Exactly. Trump is in control. And he would be in control of Romney. Trump will listen and delegate but will remain in control.
I trust Trump.
Answer: Obama.
That would be my answer. Obama is a puppet of the Soros types while Trump does his own "string pulling".
I'm guessing this conversation between the two will substantially end after inauguration day.
How do you judge anyone or anything in the complete absence of performance data? I don’t reach conclusions based on hope.
Another reason I like her....she was a cruzbot at one time right? Then she saw the light and supported Trump.
Trump: Hey, Barrack old buddy, I was wondering if I should go straight or turn on this road here.
Barrack: Well, Don, I’d strongly encourage you to turn as soon as possible.
Trump: Gee thanks, buddy!!! Talk later! (OK, just as I thought, full speed ahead!)
We have never had someone like Trump as president. Trump is a paradigm shift.
Keep your enemies closer....
That’s how I see it. The more Obama opens up to Trump, the less Hillary can depend on Obama to help steal the election away from Donald. Also, it is very likely, that both Bush Presidents’ GHWB and W, are not being nearly as helpful to this new Republican President as one would normally expect.
He cannot even think of asking Jimmy(I Love Castro!) Carter for help. Bill Clinton is still going to be acting in Hillary’s best interest. Or pretending to for now.
So Donald needs to have someone’s inside perspective, biased though it may be. Trump is a good judge of character, and this knowledge will help him to deal with Obama’s future panic attacks, as much of his legacy is systematically destroyed by Donald.
