Is there reason to doubt climate change because some of the nations hottest days happened in 1898, as President-elect Donald Trump told the New York Times in an interview Tuesday?
In an exchange with Times publisher Arthur Sulzberger Jr. and staff about climate change on Tuesday (Nov. 22), Trump said, I have an open mind to it, but later added, You know the hottest day ever was in 1890-something, 98. You know, you can make lots of cases for different views.
However, its misleading to single out a weather event such as a particularly hot day in 1898 as evidence for or against climate change, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administrations National Ocean Service (NOS).
Ninety-seven percent of climate scientists agree that this rapid warming is not due to natural causes, but due primarily to the result of human activity, according to NASA.

North America was once covered by a Glacier The last glaciation centered on the huge ice sheets of North America and Eurasia.
I think we defeated it on November 8th.
The climate change cultists would have us believe that the sun, the oceans, volcanos and other totally natural variables have absolutely nothing to due with climate change and that only molecular level changes in CO2 levels are the sole driver of all climatic shifts. This alone has s preposterous.
That was exactly the plan.
Hence, the reliance on an apparent infinite number of computer models, none of which agrees with any other, to reach a common consensus in order to keep the gravy train running.
No question it's a money-making scam in a large sense, the result of government-financed-and-controlled "science." But I think it's far more dangerous because it undermines the very basis of Enlightenment science itself.
While there are many dedicated "real" scientists, their fact-based research is steamrollered by the "consensus" clique, whose motives are political as much as mercenary. A generation or two of young minds have been indoctrinated with this postmodern "factless" BS, and they are the future.
