No question it's a money-making scam in a large sense, the result of government-financed-and-controlled "science." But I think it's far more dangerous because it undermines the very basis of Enlightenment science itself.

While there are many dedicated "real" scientists, their fact-based research is steamrollered by the "consensus" clique, whose motives are political as much as mercenary. A generation or two of young minds have been indoctrinated with this postmodern "factless" BS, and they are the future.
