Introduction
Elections are often decided by a few votes. In many cases they are decided by one or two votes out of the several hundred or even several thousand votes that are cast. An election may even end in a tie vote. These circumstances encourage a candidate, typically the one who loses the election, to have all the ballots counted again to assure all legal votes are counted properly, any illegal votes are not counted, and the proper procedures for conducting the election were followed by the election officials.
The process of counting the ballots again is known as a recount. There is no automatic recount. The procedures for requesting and conducting a recount are spelled out in the election laws. A recount is the exclusive remedy to test in court the right of a candidate to hold office based on the number of votes cast at an election.
This manual explains the statutory requirements for requesting a recount, attempts to explain ambiguity in those statutes, expands on the statutory requirements with recommended procedures for conducting a recount, and contains sample forms for use during the recount.

All “manufactured” votes, provisional ballots and discarded ballots would need to be verified as leg,itimate and each one is subject to challenge.
Finding a box of votes will fail unless because voter must be id’d and their eligibility verified.
Maybe you should pass on to your Team Trump contact a suggestion that they contact Stein and legally notify her that she will be getting the bill for the total cost of the legal services Team Trump and the GOP incur due to her frivolous recounts. The cost for legal devices could run into the millions if all three states get recounted.

Yes. Trump needs to make it an absolute priority to use the first 4 years of his Presidency to take apart the apparatus put into effect by the left over at least the past 5-6 decades. This is literally our last chance.

Really? Johnson found 90,000 votes for Kennedy, that were conveniently burnt in a fire before any re-count could have been called for..
I think the most logical concern is that the Electoral Voters from Wisconsin aren’t allowed to participate on December 19.

Agreed. It’s a long shot, but now they have $3 million+ to feed to their lawyers. They may have been shopping for judges favorable to their cause since the election, too.
As others have noted, Stein/Hillary may be attempting to sabotage the Electoral College vote on December 19.
They seemingly picked three states which they believe they can tie up via re-counts and legal proceedings so that their Electors can’t vote on December 19 — to keep Trump below the 270 threshold needed to win.
Everything is run by a handful of judges in today’s America. They let us run things the way we want, but when someone finds a way to push something before one of them, they become a dictator.

Right, and this is a grave weakness in our system of government. I am hoping that during Trump’s two administrations this travesty is addressed and eliminated. The country needs to be rid of the ability of these dictators to render decisions that are contrary to the will of the people.
If neither Trump or Clinton has 270 Electoral Votes when the new Congress convenes in January, then the GOP Controlled house will elect the next President via majority vote and the GOP controlled senate will elect the Vice President.
They must pick from the top 3 in electoral college voting (Trump or Clinton, Pence or Kaine for VP).
Trump/Pence would likely get the nod, but they may have to walk back some of their positions on trade and immigration to get the whole GOP Caucus to vote for them.
At least after this recount proceeds we should never hear the idiot media beating up a R candidate with a question about accepting the result of the vote before the vote have even been cast! These hypocrits are showing what they really are and it’s comincal to watch.
wow! yeah, actually only 1/2 the amount is needed to change the winner.
But I’m now more sure this will amount to no change. Just some thing else as people said Stein was supplied the money for some other eason like covering clinton/soros tracks, or maybe in an attempt to out clinton as fraud even more than has been shown in last 2 months by wikileaks etc.

The number of popular votes that Hillary had over Trump was roughly the number of illegals who voted in California.

We should also not hesitate to remind the losers that there were more votes cast that were not for Clinton than were cast for Clinton.
