The German government said on Saturday that it would launch an investigation into Nazi influence on the country’s post-war central government.
The probe at a cost of €4 million ($4.2 million) will run until 2020, and will complement some 20 such inquiries already made at numerous ministries and institutions to determine the reach of alleged Nazi networks following World War II.
€1 million will be specially devoted to uncovering Nazi influence at the heart of German power — the Chancellery. Investigators will seek to clarify what continuity there was in the staff of the Chancellery, the office that serves Germany’s leader, following the breakup of the Third Reich after Germany’s defeat at the hands of the Allies in 1945. …

Hitler was no fan of Arabs, but he figured if the Germans were Muslim, they would have conquered the world, since Islam was the perfect religion for soldiers.
Just as Jimmah recalls Uncle Fidel with fondness Merkel has very fond memories of her formative years in the German Democratic Republic.
I don't know about you but I,for one,have always marveled at how countries that have "People's" or "Democratic" in their names are usually about as far as you can get from "democratic".

It’s a matter of history that Nazis went into the post- war ruling elite in Germany. The problem that needs attention is no longer 1946. Its 2016 with the German ruling elite selling out the German people and nation to the islamoNazi invasion and takeover. ( same for France Italy U.K. Belgium Norway Sweden USA and canada).
They should investigate that skank they have in charge right now.
It was anti-Communist, so in the minds of Esat Germans like Frau Merkel, it MUST be Nazi.
