My son went with a girl the other night out in CA, while he got liberty in the Marines.
She wanted to meet him, but after her bringing up her left wing politics in the first half hour was too much for him. Since that night she has asked if she could meet him again , and he has no intention of ever meeting her, even if she is good looking.
The really sad part of it is these kids start out normal, but their are warped by TV, the movies, colleges, and now even the churches. It’s like a contagious mental disorder. Thank you and your son for his service. He should keep looking. Try to meet a girl from Hillsdale College.
MrR and I grew up together, and were friends in HS but I moved away to Utah during college. When I moved home a couple of years later (age 20), I called him to let him know I was back in town. He decided to ask me out and his first question was “What political party do you belong to?” My response was “Republican - duh”
His (then) liberal mother was appalled he brought home a Conservative and his response to her was “Do you really think I would ever date a Democrat?”
He also finds intelligence a turn on.
