Keep your friends close and Romney closer. I am going to side with Trump on this one, and think that Romney has accepted the fact that he F*ed up. I think he would do a good job and he would be loyal to Trump.

I believe the depths of his deviousness and nastiness demonstrates it’s not a shallow “oops, I got it wrong and now I’ll be a loyal good person” on Romney’s part. Rather, it exposes his hard core unrelenting commitment toward global ideas and his resolve to aggressively do whatever is necessary to achieve those ideals. Just my opinion.

Appoint Romney to hell, that’s he only place he should be. He bet it all against Trump and lost. Get him out of here!

I agree with you. Not sure that Romney agrees that he messed up, but I think he would probably do a good job. The Secretary of State position is not a free agent. He serves at the pleasure of the president. He can be replaced. Trump can choose to be vindictive and pay Romney back, or he can put Romney, a well qualified choice, in the position with the benefit of muting the opposition from the never trumpers and GOPe. I'm going to trust Trump on this. He is very savvy. He outplayed Hillary, the DNC, the MSM, Hollywood, the GOPe. This is not a time for knee jerk reactions. It is a time for strategy. Trump is a master at that.

If loyalty is key, its a two way street. Giuliani has been beyond loyal and stood there, back to back, thick and thin, fighting thru all the crap.. Additionally, he announced in public his desire to have State. Leaving him to twist while the one who tried to destroy us all is taken seriously is, in my view, a significant breach of loyalty both to him and to us.
