The idea of Romney being chosen for Secretary of State bothers me. I remember his debate performances. He is not really a stand-up guy.
Trump made a big play for the Indian vote. He ran ads with him speaking Hindi, and said if elected India would have a friend in the White House. I believe her appointment gets her out of the way in SC, but also signals a shift away from Pakistan and towards India.
Haley was too light-skinned to be considered a minority by the left anyway.
