Clinton is NOT winning the popular vote.
Dave Leip's Atlas of U.S. Presidential Elections ^ | 11-21-16

It looks like Clinton will come in at about 48%. That means 52% will have voted against her. She will have lost the popular vote.

I know, we will hear this for the next 4 years. The next time some media hack brings up Hillary won more votes I wish the republican would respond with truth

Hillary won the third most votes in US history behind Obama’s top two. Trump has the biggest Rep vote total in history topping Bush 43’s 2004 number.

Currently, Hillary is leading by 3.7 million votes in CA. Her margin of victory tops Obama in both 2008 and 2012.

More votes were cast in 2016 than any presidential election in history.

Third most votes in history to the unindicted, profoundly corrupt, liar H Clinton. It seems to me the election was a dark cloud with a Trump silver lining for this country. “For reals.”

Not a total direct correlation. Bush 43 received more votes than McCain and Romney. The 2008 election held the previous record for most votes cast. And it will be several elections before anyone tops Obama’s 69 million in 2008.

Personally,I’m surprised she got more than 3 votes total & I only say that because I’m pretty sure I know who two of them were.

There is no such thing as “winning” the popular vote in a presidential election. The popular vote is not at contest. One cannot win that for which there is no race. The contest is for the Electoral College. It would be like saying a football team “won” the most touchdowns for the season. The number of touchdowns for a season is not at contest. While an interesting statistic, it is irrelevant. What is relevant is the team that won the most games.

Trump would have campaigned much differently had it come down to popular vote, and he’d still win.
