One of President-elect Donald Trump's potential cabinet picks showed photographers more than he intended over the weekend, revealing part of an aggressive plan to change the Department of Homeland Security's approach to combating illegal immigration.
When the two posed for pictures beforehand, however, Kobach was clutching his proposal – and photographs captured the parts that his left hand didn't obscure.
They included uncompromising approaches to deportations, providing for the 'rapid build' of the wall that Candidate Trump promised for America's southern border – 1,989 miles of it – and part of a plan that appears targeted at making sure illegal immigrants can't vote in national elections.

They committed a crime in coming here illegally as squatters. Worse, they take welfare and public services that are meant for needy American citizens, which is stealing. Throw the book at them and penalize their former homelands who look at the USA as a dumping ground for their poor and criminals and a boost to their economy as illegals send money back home. We should require proof of citizenship to wire money to a foreign country.
Or they thought that the relentless attacks of Democrats, RINOs, media and open-border big business would force him to back down.
They are learning that Trump cannot be bought, scared or embarrassed into backing down!
You may be right. But why would Trump use such an artifice? It just makes him look sloppy. What would be the point? When he is ready, he will openly reveal his finalized plans for immigration.

Why hide plans that you’ve publicly stated you will be doing? Especially when the media states you won’t do it.
Notice the reporting for the past few days where they made it as if Trump is backpedaling on his promises and now it’s about how he’s keeping his promises?
These ‘leaks’ are intended to do that which the left said was impossible. In effect, they will self-report.
They intended it to be leaked of course! They know the slimey ways of the media- and used it - just like they use social media. I think it’s brilliant and hopefully will get some self deportation moving along

You are, by definition, a criminal when you enter a country illegally and steals taxpayer money or someone’s job.
How does the Mexican government categorize someone who slips into their country illegally?

Obuma can pardon alien invaders Tuesday but if they are still here Wednesday, they are breaking the law. An ongoing crime cannot be pardoned. Nor can crimes committed in the future be pardoned.

Illegal immigrants by definition broke the law, which makes them criminals. This really shouldn’t be so difficult to grasp.
