Time to pull all direct government funding of colleges and universities. Vouchers to students only, with minimum grade requirements. Vouchers only for all primary and secondary schools as well. Eliminate DOEd.

The girl should have been reprimanded. If I owned a restaurant, the staff would be told NOT to comment on customer's food choices, or to say anything political.
Which reminds me of an incident at a Shari's restaurant. When my girlfriend ordered, the waitress said, "Good choice!" When I ordered, she said nothing. After the waitress left, I joked that the incident could be worked into a Larry David episode.
The waitress would congratulate his wife for her "excellent choice," and say nothing about Larry's order, and he wouldn't let it drop. "Wait a minute, you said my wife made an excellent choice, but didn't say that I made a good choice. Do you have a problem with my choice? Do you know something about my choice that I should know?" He'd end up being asked to leave the restaurant.

As for “offending” - when the hell are we going to be afraid of offending US?
When are we going to be upset that AMERICANS might be offended for not including Americans, or not celebrating America?
