Donald Trump and the Return of European Anti-Americanism
Gatestone Institute ^ | November 21, 2016 | Soeren Kern

Posted on 11/21/2016 7:16:19 AM PST by DJ Taylor

European criticism of Trump goes far beyond a simple displeasure with the man who will be the next president. The condemnation reveals a deep-seated contempt for the United States, and for American voters who democratically elected a candidate committed to restoring American economic and military strength.

Western Europe is experiencing an invasion of barbaric Muslim savages and seem to be completely unaware of what is happening. When they finally come to their senses and realize a conquering army of Muslims has infiltrated every part of Western Europe, they’ll once again ask the U.S. to save them, but by that time we’ll have our own Muslim invasion to deal with and won’t be able to help them. When that happens, their only choice will be to turn to Russia for assistance, and we’ll finally see Russian tanks pouring through the Fulda Gap, but this time it will be by invitation and not the long expected Communist invasion of Western Europe, proving once again if you live long enough, you’ll see the seemingly impossible happen. Yes, Vladimir Putin might become the modern day Charlemagne.

I really don’t give a fitless f#$k about what Europeans think of us. It’s American anti-Americanism — stirred up by Obama, not Trump — that concerns me.

How about how Europeans hated us when Clinton was president? In 1999,I planned a trip to Paris with my then 16-year-old son. From the moment I mentioned it, many people told me how the French hated us and suggested wearing a Canadian maple leaf pin to make the French think we were Canadian.

Meaning leftist agitators are screaming again. Meanwhile, they will elect their own right-wing Nationalists in an attempt to halt their descent to islamic servitude.

“Donald Trump and the Return of European Anti-Americanism”

This really isn’t a problem. President Trump will cut a deal with Putin, give NATO back to Europe, and then Europe can deal with Putin while simultaneously hollowing themselves out with unlimited numbers of Muslim goat herders who’ve never seen a flush toilet before and whose sole desire will be to out-breed native Europeans in a slow-motion jihad. Pretty soon Europe will be so far up to their arses in Russian Bears and Muslim jihadists that anti-American sentiments will be pretty far down their priority list.

communists and socialists resent the success of capitalism

it’s always been this way... and always will be

Trump wants to make the US more prosperous ... which IMMEDIATELY draws the resentment of the left (since they know their ideologies are NEVER prosperous, by definition)

The “Return of European Anti-Amercanism”.

When did it ever quit?

But what I do see with Trump is the return of respect.

Fillon just rook Juppe and Sarkozy to the cleaners in the first round of the French right wing presidential primaries.
He’s very close to Trump on many of his stances like Islam and national security, etc. Will be interesting to watch Hollande bite the dust along with Merkel in Germany. The tide is turning. Watch what happens soon in Austria! Hungary’s leadership is on Trump’s side. Don’t die-cast all Europe because we need several of the individual states to help destroy Globalism and remember the leadership of a country does NOT represent all its citizens. Look what just happened in the USA!.

The silent majority of Europeans love America, you just don’t hear about it in the media.

There were more Frenchmen fighting for our liberty at Yorktown than there were Americans. The UK hasn’t always been our friend. Of all the Europeans IMHO the most jealous of us are the Brits!

Especially in Central Europe. Poles, Czechs, Slovaks and Hungarians love Americans. Trump will be very popular there, as Reagan still is today.
