I never knew about this guy until I talked to my Marine son , and he said the General is like a hero, a cult figure in the Marine Corps.
I hope he gets a position after hearing what Marines think of him. He is old time, get the military back to a fighting unit, and men act as men, real men, not the pansy crap getting in the military today.

Keane already took himself out of consideration after his meeting with Trump which occurred on Thursday. I saw an interview, I think on BOR Friday where he said he will not be on the cabinet. No explanations, just that he won’t.

This is great but Trump needs to get the freak running the Navy out asap.
Gen Mattis is a “Marine’s Marine”.
That obviously includes the “Mad Dog” aspect (”Break things & Kill people” - Ooooh RAH!) but also his deep intellect and wisdom.
Mattis is NOT a stereotypical “dumb grunt”. Watch his interviews on the Hoover Institute’s “Uncommon Knowledge” and at other venues.
