Donald Trump is not happy Mike Pence wasn't welcomed with open arms by Broadway on Friday night.
Trump demanded that the cast of Hamilton apologize to the Vice president-elect after they stopped the show to address him directly about their fears.
The president-elect, who took to Twitter on Saturday morning to complain, claimed the cast had 'harassed' Pence.
'Our wonderful future V.P. Mike Pence was harassed last night at the theater by the cast of Hamilton, cameras blazing,' Trump wrote. 'This should not happen!'
'The Theater must always be a safe and special place. The cast of Hamilton was very rude last night to a very good man, Mike Pence. Apologize!'
But the Hamilton cast began their address, which was delivered by actor Brandon Dixon, by thanking Pence for coming to the show.
'Vice president-elect Pence we welcome you and truly thank you for joining us here,' Dixon, who plays Aaron Burr, said onstage.
Dixon then told Pence that the cast was a reflection of the Americans who were worried about their future following the presidential election.
'We sir, we are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents, or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights,' he said.
'But we truly hope this show has inspired you to uphold our Americans values and to work on behalf of all of us. All of us.'
Dixon was quick to defend the cast on Saturday morning, directly replying to Trump's tweets.
'Conversation is not harassment sir,' Dixon wrote. 'And I appreciate Mike Pence for stopping to listen.'

Trump is just having a little fun mocking liberals and their safe spaces. Also, there was no “conversation.” This was a liberal rant and only a Stalinist freak would describe a one-way rant as a dialogue.

I can't remember anything remotely resembling this kind of behavior after Obama was elected. Sure there was grumbling, etc., but I don't remember protests and near riots.
Yet here we have this Hysteria and Odorous Mendacity from the Left and the Snowflakes. Lord please deliver me from this Hypocrisy and Stupidity.
What has happened to common decency and civility? It just shows that we, those that supported Donald Trump and Mike Pence, will have to fight and resist the angry hoards.

I was just trying to point out Pence’s unwavering faith in God. God certainly has put people in my path to help me out.

I’m so sorry this happened to you, Mr. Pence. It’s disgraceful.
Apparently the president-elect and vice president-elect cannot go out to dinner or to a Broadway show without being harassed.
Frankly, it’s a refreshing change to have a Republican who fights back. George W. was a decent man, but in some ways a bit too much of a gentleman allowing all they said about him without ever answering back.
I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say we agree that we’re sick of those mouse pellets. And I’m so delighted in watching them squirm and behave like mice, cowering in their safe places and squealing at the sight of the mousetrap slamming shut. I simply cannot stop smiling.
