I graduated from a D.C. area high school. Georgetown used to be a neat place to take a date. Of course that was before home rule.

Holmes is a New York City import. She was the Commissioner of the Civil Rights Commission, or something close to it. Then she was hired to come to DC to run things, becoming DC’s first non-voting Congressional Representative.
She has given some support to various Marxist and black extremist causes in DC but she is very shrewd, and if a Marxist, she isn’t going to let it show too much.
A look at her FBI files from the past could show a whole different, but hidden side to her political orientation.
For now she just plays the race card and would like to be DC first real Senator.
