I just heard the mayor of Los Angeles say (in English) that cities don’t enforce federal law.
Since robbing a bank is against federal law does that mean that LAPD will look the other way?
The major of Los Angeles has a mid two digit IQ.
Shouldn’t expect too much.
The Chief of Police has him beat by about 5 points.
With this Justice Department it’s nothing. With the next Justice Department, a lot of pressure can be brought to bear with law enforcement cooperation, grants, and Homeland Security. Sanctuary cities live off the Government Teat and those subsidies can come to a screaming halt. There are lots of other cities with more to offer.
this reminds me of a story related to me by a local cop.
one of their officers was speeding a little on the way to work. he got stopped and ticketed by a HIghway Patrol officer no professional courtesy warning.
next the local pd just happened to have a few units near the Highway Patrol Hqs and began ticketing the HP officers for speeding etc. It continued with a ticket war and the HP was on the loosing end of the tickets..
eventually a judge got mad at all the tickets and threw a fit and ended the whole thing...morale dont get into a pi$$ing contest with law enforcement officers you are not going to win.
how many federal laws can be found to have been broken by various federal agencies against these cities and their leaders? they will be under a microscope.
