Looks like a tank with a real big gun on it.

It’s a self-propelled artillery piece, a more advanced counterpart to our Paladin system.

From Wikipedia:
“Initial reports describe the main armament as a 2A88[7] 152 mm gun with a range of up to 70 kilometers using precision-guided rounds and up to 40 km with standard rounds that are currently used on Msta-S.[4][6] The claimed average rate of fire is around 16 rounds per minute,[8](15+)[9] with a maximum rate of 20 rounds per minute”

There's a good reason for that. It IS a tank chassis with a real big gun on it.

To save costs, they are using a common chassis for the T-14 tank, and various other combat vehicles.
