Cruz was born a citizen of the US.

There is no more natural born than that.

And there is no one else in government that approaches Cruz’ loyalty to this country.

Never Cruz; he would want to hand out Teddy bears to all the defendants and would not enforce immigration laws. NEVER CRUZ.

He was born a citizen of Canada.
We do not know when he or his parents filed the necessary paperwork for recognition as a US citizen.
Those records exist, why are they sealed?

“LOL. Trump has blocked the path to the White House for climbing careerists.”

I love it, as President Trump cruises to re-election we can thank God, he will have stopped Bushes, Ryans, and Cruz-Rubio politico filth from sniffing the Oval Office.

I’m in Texas and I don’t care for Cruz, but I could support him for Solicitor General.

Senator Sessions was nominated by Reagan to be a US District Judge but was voted down by the Senate in 1986. As usual the bum Arlen Specter was the Republican who was against him. I always enjoy seeing him on the Judiciary Committee knowing it must just irritate the hell out of the liberals. Hopefully President Trump will find a place for him in the administration. I’m sure Alabama will find a suitable replacement for him in the Senate.

I don’t recall a politician nominated to the court in my time. I think it would be enormously risky and for what? To get him out of the way? Why would anyone want him as AG? He might decide to start investigating President Trump.

I think Cruz on the Supreme Court would be great. He loves the Constitution, and that is the most important factor.

There is no “necessary paperwork.”

He was born a citizen of the US.

You are a very devious and deceptive scammer.

Yes, I agree, but why put somebody so old into that position? Shouldn't we be looking for the very youngest people that we can find for particularly judicial positions? That way, they can be the gift that keeps on giving for 25 --- 30 --- maybe 40 years.

I agree that it would blow most liberal gaskets out, but I'd rather put someone in a judgeship who will be able to aggravate the crap out of them for years to come ...

Hypothetical, exactly the same situation as a Cuban father and an American mother in Canada.
Not what the founders had in mind.
Born here of citizen parents.
Naturally a US citizen because there is no possibility of being anything else.
If one can be something else because of foreign birth or foreign parent(s), they may still be a citizen but they are not a natural born citizen.
