Although I abhor her political views, she was absolutely hilarious as Judy in “What’s Up Doc?”, and I have to give her her due she was also outstanding in “Hello Dolly”... beautiful voice, “what a set of pipes”.
She drove poor Gene Kelly crazy during the making of Hello, Dolly. He was the GREAT Gene Kelly...director of the film. She didn’t have a clue who he was and kept telling him how to do his job...I believe she was new to film and just a kid. Walter Mattheau despised her.
