A time out card? You have to be kidding. Do they have a safe space for the little namby pamby jackwagons to go cry in too?
I kid you not.
My oldest did boot camp at Parris Island and told me the drill instructors were making fun of the Army for having stress time out cards in the Army boot camp.
Once he graduated boot camp he got in touch with a friend of his what went to the Army.
His friend confirmed that the Army boot camp they are given time out stress cards, and when they feel stressed they can have a time out while in boot camp.
Also in the Army boot camp they get to talk on the phone once a week while the Marine Corps will not allow calls till they finish boot camp after over 3 months.
Another difference is that the Marine Corps will not allow Marines to ever wear their camo’s outside of base while other branches do, because the Corps believes once you leave camp in uniform you should look professional at all times and that is why they always wear their blues uniform .
Some of the things I have learned this year about how the Army has changed is stunning, and there needs to be an overall of what obama has done.
forgot to mention. Yes they have time out sterss cards which can be used once a week in the Army boot camp, and they can find their own space to de-stress as they call it.
When I was in boot camp, our stress cards consisted of a hard smack on the side of the helmet from a grizzled old SFC who wasn’t on the same frequency as namby-pambies.
