Another difference is that the Marine Corps will not allow Marines to ever wear their camo’s outside of base while other branches do, because the Corps believes once you leave camp in uniform you should look professional at all times and that is why they always wear their blues uniform.

Every time I see them in Chick-fil-A, Roy Rogers or Jersey Mikes dressed like that, I want to ask them how it's going on the front or if they are off to battle after they have lunch. We were NEVER allowed to wear that uniform off base unless coming from or going home.

Same as me. I always see the National guard in Chic-fil-A, but the worst was the neighbor around the corner who joined the NG for the benefits, and just wears his uniform to get his discounts from places like Chic-fil -A .

We were never allowed to wear our uniforms when leaving camp, as there is no need too.

I am glad I am not the only one who feels asking that question too.
