I think you’re talking about the hexadecimal representations of the bits in the file. For example, people were looking for the characters “pk” in the file, but if you open the file in a hexidecimal editor to view the actual bits, “pk” would appear as “70 6b”.
You would indeed find those bits if there was a hidden zip file there, but then you would need to find the rest of the PKZIP file format, which is missing. The “pk” just indicates the start of a zip file, if the rest of the header is missing, there is no zip file.
