The most elegant first lady since Jackie, she will be the most reviled by the press since Nancy Reagan.

The comments on Yahoo don't seem to be very favorable to the democrat shill who wrote the story.

$12,000 Carolina Herrera designer gown to the state dinner earlier this week.

IF you added up the costs of all the clothes in our house - shoes, boots, jackets, professional clothes, dress clothes, my wife's wedding dress (stored away) - everything..... you'd not come anywhere near $12,000. And that's what a family has collected over a lifetime.

We don't dress like ragamuffins either. No "Designer" wear, but even WBill Jr. looks nice, when he chooses to.

I believe designers frequently ‘loan’ clothing to celebs, indicating the designer retains ownership.

We should do one of those “who wore it better” comparisons.

Put Moochelle in a $1600 dress compared to Melania.

Better yet, put Melania in a potato sack and Moochelle in one of her designer gowns.

IIRC, MO’s hair and make up artist was $1500/day.

I am sure she kept them on call every single day so how many days in 8 years?

Guaranteed Melania will never wear a plastic boob belt and never need a wide load sign.

the media are going to tread more lightly around Melania because Trump will attack back.

I think your friend is onto something. They are probing with the dress thing.

They'll find out. He's good at this. That's why, in the construction business, he gets exactly what he wants.

(Did anyone ask how much Lesley Stahl's man-tailored silk jacket cost? My guess is $1600. The scary hair I hope was free.)

This is what’s wrong with America’s corrupted major news outlets. They, like Democrats in elections, are focused on personal attacks rather than discussing policy. I have little doubt that Trump can dismiss these personal attacks but am concerned for other members of his family. Hopefully they have his toughness as well.

The hoaxing media savaged Nixon, too. He won reelection in a landslide. People see the shit the hoaxing media pedals.

They do, but consider Mooch’s size. I’m not picking, BTW, since I’m about the same. My guess is Mooch’s dresses/gowns are custom made. A loan? If they’re going with that, it’s an attempt to get around the gift and/or IRS issues.

I think that would be hysterical. Both of them, because of their stature, could wear potato sacks and it would look great. Can you imagine the media trying to identify who the designer Melania was wearing and couldn’t figure it out......Walmart!

Touchy much?

There was nothing negative or snarky in the Yahoo News fashion story.

There will be plenty of things to get offended about. Be patient.

Put those two gals in a short cotton sundress from Wal*Mart and they would be even more stunning.

..and how many tax payer dollars went towards Mrs. Trump’s wardrobe?

ZERO

...and how much money have the Trump’s made living off of taxpayer dollars as career politicians?

ZERO

...and on what level does it make sense to judge people who have made a crap-ton of money from their own investment, work, and risk taking?

NONE.

“Melania Trump Wore a $1,655 Fiery Red Dress for 60 Minutes Interview.”

Still cost less than any single vacation taken by the Obamas.

And, I'll add, the Trump family paid for Melania's dress while taxpayers paid for everything Obama.
