Kick Barry out of it today and have them get working—with Trump’s own security overseeing it.
A year! Trump can cut that time significantly and bring it in under budget. But do keep time in the schedule for interior power washing.
So maybe he’ll work out of Trump Tower his first year after all.
PEOTUS should do it the way he wants and while Jug Ears is on his swan song apology tour!
Trump is a developer - he fixed Wollman Rink on his own dime and under budget in New York City in record time when the city spent millions on “renovations” that went into a black hole. I’m sure he’ll look at the plans and set a more realistic renovation schedule if it’s even necessary and hold the contractors to a tight schedule and keep it on budget.
How many White Hut, House Staff, will be leaving because they disapprove of PEOTUS?
Will some prefer the new POTUS?
Just another easy project for him, time to put Barron to work! ‘^}
Republican strategist Karl Rove said he expects Donald Trump will fall short of winning the party's presidential nomination, setting the stage for Texas Sen. Ted Cruz or possibly Ohio Gov. John Kasich to emerge from the Cleveland convention as the Republican nominee.

Once they Renovate it, they can Flip it.
That's what I was thinking. Or where-ever he wants to be. One has to wonder how unhappy President Elect Trump and First Lady Melania would be about being somewhere not decorated by the Obamas.
Just like the skating rink.
Trump could put Barron in charge, it would still come out ahead of schedule and under budget
How about San Simeon? It probably exceeds Trump’s over the topness and is away from any urban area. He can then become Citizen Trump!
I think the point is that Obama delayed on purpose to be vindictive.
After detoxing it should be placed in the American History Museum on the Mall.
Ha, Trump will probably bring in his own contractors and get the job done in 30 days.
Maybe it’s time to open the White House as a museum, and build another House for the people.
As a reminder, it was Karl Rove who issued the "never darken the door of the White House" order to Tom Tancredo after his comments linking the 9/11 terrorist attacks to Washington's failure to enforce US immigration laws. If I were Trump, as a nod and courtesy, I'd invite Tom Tancredo as a WH guest soon.
As I've mentioned before, if Trump does this then he will depopulate Trump Tower. The people who can afford to live there are not the kind of people who will put up with having to jump through the security hoops, the streets around the building being shut down, and be faced with the demonstrators 24x7. All the retail establishments in the lobby will almost certainly go out of business as the walk-in traffic is cut off by the security screenings. He will likely kill off the crown jewel of his real estate empire and I don't think he wants to do that.
He probably figured Hillary was going to move in, so no need to bother worrying about the non-infirmary part of the building.
This is actually a good thing. I’m sure it needs every kind of upgrade, and there is not a person alive who could oversee this job better than Donald Trump. Whatever is in the plans, he will scrutinize and improve.
Glad he will eventually have a state of the art office. Can’t wait to see how he will have it decorated. :o)
