Every state initiative and referendum that I voted on went the other way. Only one of the pubbies I voted for actually won. Everything else went to the 'tards. And I know that my Trump vote was only symbolic since Washington state was lost to the loonies years ago.

Round here, we've got all these cool-looking pork barrel projects and social programs, while very little goes to fixing the existing streets. (There are tire shops every few blocks, in abandoned gas stations all across the city; people blow out tires quite often)
