"... and the rabbit dies ..."

I haven't heard that phrase in a while. I wonder if the under 35 Freepers know what that means, since that test has not been use in a long time.

This under-35 Freeper had to Google it.

It was insanity to open combat to women. May God guide Trump to reverse this absurd policy.

I remember he said he would consult with military brass, behind closed doors, to see what they recommend. I also recall that Pence was very against opening combat roles to women. I think there is a good chance that we will see a return to sanity on this issue.

Wait until a real TI gets these Pot Heads and Obese recruits! I doubt most of them last a week.

It was all over the front cover of Navy, USAF and Army Times at the Navy base Exchange.

I’m also waiting to see a woman dead lift a 200lb man with an additional 40-60 lbs of gear and fireman carry them 100 yards with no assistance.

40-60lbs is a training requirement. In urban combat I carried 130 lbs of gear and equipment, equivalent to 70% of my body weight......also equivalent to 100% the body weight of an average female.

And, that was before having to pick up and carry extra munitions after we took casualties.

Awwwww, they want to be GI Jane - how precious.

Good news, and much needed. All leftist social experimentation in the US military needs to end on 1/20/2017.

1. Reinstitute DADT: no open homosexuality in the military

2. Absolutely no transgenders: immediate removal of such with dishonorable discharge

3. Disband DACOWITS

3. No women in ground combat roles

4. No women in submarine service

5. Eliminate all programs related to 'climate change'

As far as this goes, President Trump’s rules for the military should be succinct: “Recruitment, retention and application are based exclusively on mission accomplishment. No other factors matter. Accomplish the mission and you continue to do it your way. Fail to accomplish the mission and you will be replaced.”

“I think that if a woman and serve in combat and keep up with all the men that they should be able to”

No, they should be making a home for their husbands and children. That’s what women do. That’s what women are supposed to do.

“Are we running a military or a Federal jobs program?”

I think you know the answer to that. If not, a visit to any post will yield visions of pregnant soldiers waddling about in maternity “combat” uniforms, and all the single parents dropping multiple child dependents off at the day care facilities...

again, most men could not do what you did, and if they can do it, they could not do it for very long, and for very few years...so in actuality, its a tiny, tiny window of opportunity for men to carry such weights....for the typical career soldier, it encompasses a very brief time of their enlistment....

if you don't want women in combat fine, but stop making up these absurd allegations...

And they get weeded out at Military Enlistment Processing Station or in bootcamp.

Not everyone can serve, it’s not a right.

I did it for twelve years.
When the Soviet Union collapsed got out.

A stringently maintained physical conditioning regimen will keep a man’s strength and stamina going for a long time.

If by "very few men," you mean the five battalions worth that cleared the city.......

and for the "very brief time of the their enlistment"....you mean when it matters and lives are on the line.

Which BTW, that was one battle that I referred to..... out of FOUR DEPLOYMENTS. I carried ~100 lbs (albeit less than the 130 referenced earlier) for most of them.

Why don't you stick to things you know and let me stick to combat

BTW, - I'll take my coffee with cream and sugar, darlin.
