Agreed. But in a thousand years considering it only took us 2000 years, with no equipment to assist, to screw up this planet, maybe he better alter his theory to needing two planets. With our automation, by the time 1000 years has elapsed, we could have screwed up the first alternate and could need a back up planet to stay ahead of the power curve.

He under-estimate us.
