Extraordinary voter turnout is the norm in Johnson County, though this year was higher than usual

Got no problem with the results.

The outcome would have been the same no matter what but, 100%?

That is like Filthadelphia and having zero votes for Romney, a POS for sure but, I know Republicans in Filthadelphia and no way that was an honest outcome.

Agree, something fishy there. Another state with ‘voter-less’ primaries.

If memory is correct, .003% voter turn out chose Sen. Ted Cruz. There was a concerted effort to greatly reduce by nearly half, the voter turnout for that primary caucus event.

Not sure what numbers you are looking at. 4,485 voters with a population of 8,600. That leaves 4,115 non-voters, to include those under age 18.

“No, that means 83 people who weren’t registered heading into Election Day did so to cast their vote. County population is 8,600, so I suspect quite a few people weren’t registered to vote prior to Election Day.”

You are right, if more people had read the article - they would have noted the county allows same day registration.

But, it’s great to see such a high turnout for an election.

For President and Vice-President of the United States, Johnson County voters chose Republicans Donald Trump and Mike Pence with 78% of the votes, compared to 14% of the vote for Democrats Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine.

WY just can't make it to Philly levels for fraud...:^)

As Marie posted, “You can register on the day of the election in Wyoming. This means that they registered at the polling location”
