As for people stopping using the "Trump Place" address for cab drivers -- Donald Trump will probably be long gone before that happens.

Trump may have wanted his name removed being POTUS and having no control over something he does NOT OWN could be a problem foe him down the line!!!

I don't think so. The name is splayed in gigantic letters all across the Westside Highway - a remarkable redefinition of that area. He'd be nuts to want to have that removed. That's NOT Trump. Unless you've seen that area yourself, it's impossible to draw any conclusion.

Knowing from “The Art of The Deal” how long it took for Trump to develop that site I have strong doubts that he has any inclination to relinquish title to that crown jewel.

He has a strong case that eliminating his branded title will cause huge financial harm to him and his investors.

I suspect as well that a goodly portion of current residents will not react kindly to a drop in their equity resulting from losing the cachet of the Trump brand.
