How does Trump justify nominating Cruz for the Supreme Court after (justifiably) calling him “Lyin’ Ted” about 5,000 times?

Why should he TRUST Ted Cruz, after Cruz literally stabbed him in the back at the convention and didn’t endorse him?

Trump seems neither hypocritical or stupid.

On the plus side, I’m happy to see Cruz meet with him and hopefully put their differences aside. We’re stronger if they work together.

The exact same way he trusted Ben Carson after calling him a child molester.

Heck isn’t “Lyin” a part of the job so Cruz ought to be well qualified.

I don’t think Trump is being hypocritical.

Trump is mission oriented. He does not hold grudges or have a little black book where he crosses out names.

Every person, even strong opponents, are a channel for him to fulfill the larger mission of making America great again.
