Debunked or not, anyone can get a SSBI and TS clearance if you want to spend the money. As others said, it doesn’t grant you access without need-to-know. Many contractors who have never been direct government employees get clearances. They prefer to hire people with clearances because it’s cheaper. It just takes $20,000+ and the paperwork.

Was at supper @ a restaurant and they had the bar big screen TV on CNN.
Even if it was real, I don’t see the issue. The Children would probably need some sort of high level clearance to access the White House and other areas their dad goes.
We could check if Chelsea, Barbara and Jenna, and all the others had the same thing.

CNN further fretted about ‘conflict of interests’ in having Trump’s children run their companies while taking an active part in government. Well as long as they don’t do like Hellary selling everything and getting gold mines for brothers, they have nothing to worry about. Trump spent what - about $100 million dollars of his own money on his campaigns. What the press thinks they may have in some future “appearance of conflict” is going to be a big nothing burger. I doubt it would make up a spit of the $100 mil. that Trump spent on his own. And at sometime Trump’s children get a secret clearances would be a good idea as they are part of his consults. They have to not send out dumb emails in the clear LoL.
Ya know, I would think this would just make clear sense in some respects. Picture this scenero: Trump and family are at a family dinner and Trump inadvertently mentions something that might be classified. If they didn’t have clearances, that would be a technical, though unintended violation of thw law. If this request were true (though it has apparently been debunked) it would make sense in that context and it would support it as such if it were framed in that way, and understood in that way by all parties involved.
That would rightly preclude such things as security briefings, but also cover all parties for any such inadvertent disclosure. It would also be in keeping with Trumps intention to maintain the rule of law, I.e., no special rules for the king.
I think this idea actually has merit on its face.
