It's almost certainly due to the fact that a strong anti-Putin guy like Pence will be VP. Plus that Trump has pledged to rebuild the military that Putin appeaser Obama decimated. Also, likely revisions/modifications to the horrible missile defense and nuke deals that the Obama admin bent over to Putin on when he delivered on his promised “flexibility”. Your hero Putin would have liked nothing more than for Hillary to have won, as she obviously had no concerns whatsoever in regards to our substanially weakened military and, more obviously, no plans or promises to rebuild or strengthen it.
