Over the past several years it has become abundantly clear that China does not have a high opinion of President Barack Obama.
As a reminder, at the start of September, during his final trip to China, China "welcomed" Obama with a very undiplomatic greeting when an unusual tarmac altercation involving Chinese and U.S. officials, including national security adviser Susan Rice, devolved into a shouting match by a member of the Chinese delegation. First, there was no staircase for Obama to exit the plane and descend on the red carpet, so he had to use an emergency exit.

The Chinese look up to Trump and want to learn how to win in the marketplace from a real pro. They aren’t fazed by his desire to keep jobs in the US. They are no strangers to nationalism. They figure they can play that too. They know they have plenty of opportunities.

Seems to me I remember made diplomats from somewhere leave the White House out back from the kitchen exit or something. I can’t remember where they were from (Israel?)

Thank you. If Obama is still there after the Inauguration, then I’d instruct the Secret Service to escort the Former President out the very SAME exit.

The Chinese have not only humiliated 0bama diplomatically, they have gone out of their way to deliberately humiliate him at every opportunity. Remember the group photo at the PacRim conference a few years ago? 0bama was not front and center with the world’s top leaders, he was off to the side at the “kids’ table” with the leaders’ wives and countries like Tonga.
They snub him and he is too stupid and vain to realize it, and too weak to do anything about it. I do not believe President Trump will tolerate any such treatment, nor will the Chinese offer it.
Obama--like Jimmy Carter--is living proof of the old wisdom that A Fool is more dangerous than a Scoundrel.
