Democratic Propaganda Disguised as Election Analysis
American Thinker ^ | November 15, 2016 | E. Jeffrey Ludwig

Julie Bosman and Monica Davey in a N.Y. Times article, "Republicans Expand Control in a Deeply Divided Nation," use understatement and a rhetoric of "thoughtful analysis" to make their case that Republican victories are negative events even though the people have spoken. By publishing this article, the N.Y. Times once again becomes an instrument of partisan politics under the guise of high-minded journalism. The authors have mastered the art of writing to project a sense that the reader is getting an overview of where we've been, where we are, and where we're going. But in fact, the article is filled with bias against the Republicans. Distortions abound.

Like the liberal-leftist pollsters prior to the election who assessed all data in a distorted way, these writers continue the left's attempt to put the Republicans on the defensive. For example, because of the extent of Republican victories in the Congress and the Executive Branch (and soon the Supreme Court), the writers say all the pressure is on the Republicans to produce. At no point in the article do the authors say that with this Republican return to total power, last seen during the Bush administration during the years 2003-2007, the pressure is on the Democrats to change their philosophy of government or their positions on the issues that have caused them to lose so much ground at the state level as well as at the federal level.

The Democrats have moved into a political cul-de-sac, where they are now trapped and rejected for their leftist momentum over the past few decades, but especially during the Obama years. Instead of merely being "liberal" to the Republican "conservative," they have become radical and neo-Marxist to the Republican mix of neo-liberalism (accepting big government and the "mixed economy") and social-constitutional conservatism.

I’m happy they are clueless and keep insulting the voters. If they don’t learn, we’ll be back here in 2 and 4 years from now.

Media Mind Tricks.
They have a Strong influence on the Weak Minded.

"George W. Bush is stupid."
"Donald Trump is dangerous."
"These aren't the Droids your looking for"

I cannot tell you how much I am enjoying watching the MELTDOWN by the media and the Liberal scum of America. I wish they would get so depressed they’d have to be put on suicide watch.

This is the real lesson of the election. The power of the BSM is waning and post election in a smoldering crater. They seem determined to avoid learning the lesson, which is, actually, a good thing for us. Let them continue to waste ink and time on propaganda fewer folks believe by the day. Wasting time on rearguard actions over political territory that is no longer of any tactical or strategic value.

Democrats win elections, republicans seize office.

Another of their special favorites is the word "seized": Republicans seized control of the presidency and Congress.

No, Republicans were voted in. Big difference, but not when you want to create an impression of something nefarious.

It’s great that this kind of thinly veiled propaganda is finally being called out by our side. We don’t have to tolerate advocacy masquerading as journalism any longer.

Or, how about this headline:

Deeply Divided Nation Elects Majority of Republican Governors, House and Senate and Elects Republican President!

Democrats in a “cul de sac?” That’s much too kind.

Suggests the bozos have a way out. In realtime, the Democrats are at a dead end.

In skiing terms, they got hit by an avalanche....thanks to the arrogance and incompetence of Obama.

For me, out-of-touch Hillary exhibited her disdain and condescension for middle America when she lacerated Donald for aiming his campaign at an America that she said “doesn’t exist anymore.”

The WikiLeaks emails to and from John Podesta’s desk magnified the surreal world the Clintonoids live in.

(Gloat) now they’re the ones living in middle-class America......

Mmmmmmm.....whatever will they all do w/ those post-graduate degrees in “Gender Identity” “Climate Change Kills,” and, “All Men are Scum?”

We shold not get overly confident, the MSM backed a deeply flawed and unpopular harpie-felon, and she NARROWLY LOST.

Trump needs to (politically) bury these people ASAP before they bury us.

Despite the NYT’s expressed intentions, they’re still playing partisan politics and shilling for the democrats.

And they’ll continue crashing in readership figures.

Send a direct and very unequivocal message that their influence is waning.

The DNC/media cabal wants to take away our liberty.

Tell your cable company you will no longer pay for it. Tell them you will be back when they a la carte.

Example: One newscaster on election night was trying to explain who voted Trump and why. He accidentally said Trump voters were embracing his family values. Then he abruptly corrected himself and said something like “what seems to be family values”. They know. And sometimes they inadvertently blurt out the truth.

One favorite meme right now is trying to paint Trump voters as stupid. They are constantly trotting out the data that show that college educated voters went for Hitlery, not Trump.

Several important points:
1. Having a college education does not make you intelligent.
2. Lacking a college education does not make you stupid.
3. College educated men broke for Trump. This is rarely mentioned. This is more evidence for my hypothesis that if you look at what the degrees were in, it would tell a different story. I would bet that the Trump statistics look better for those with degrees in science and engineering (more likely men), and Hitlery got more voters with degrees in social “science”, education, environmental science, political science, and worthless degrees like gender studies that do not lead to good jobs.
