At least give the idiots running Stockholm some credit. They rescinded their cockamamie idea once the inevitable failure occurred. That is more than can be said of Commies. In a way, alterations to Obama's original stimulus plan to make it more "gender equal" backfired as the blue collar male workers who did not get jobs voted for Trump.

Apparently they did so, though I'm also thinking that another kind of so-called progressivism is also involved. I'm not surprised that this idea rewards "virtuous" modes of transportation over those EVIL CARS (and ambulances).

Does no one shovel the sidewalk outside their business/home over there? It’s required here, the only sidewalks cleared by the city are those next to city buildings/property.

City and county take care of roads, owners and renters take care of their sidewalks.

I had to read the article to figure out what they were talking about. At first I thought that gender equal snow removal meant they had to remove equal numbers of male snowflakes and female snowflakes, and wondered how they could tell them apart.
