Good point. I, as a Conservative, Trump-voting Jew am disturbed to see the growing split in world view between Israeli Jews and American Jews. This is understandable though. The realities on the ground are almost polar opposites. The Jews of Israel are in the trenches of the free Western Liberal world fighting off the Barbarians. Their fight, is our fight. Death can be an instant away for an Israeli citizen at the hand of a Paleostinian terrorist's knife while their brothers & sisters in America have to deal with the perilous issue of Trans fats in the Pastrami on rye.
I know this sounds rude and Antisemitic (especially that I am a Jew) but the Israelis are tough & conservative in most ways because they have no choice while in America, many American Jews are Milquetoast/Liberal/nimnods...
