Michael Savage Warns Donald Trump: ‘Rinse’ Reince; He’s ‘Everything the Voters Rejected’
Breitbart ^ | 11/13/2016 | JULIA HAHN

Posted on 11/13/2016 4:35:57 PM PST by BlackFemaleArmyColonel

President-elect Donald Trump should not select Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus as his Chief of Staff, says Michael Savage, the national talk radio host and author of the new book Scorched Earth: Restoring the Country After Obama.

Priebus is “the enemy within,” Savage warns.

“He’s the RNC! Everything the voters rejected,” Savage tells Breitbart News. “He will steer Trump away from every policy we sent him to D.C. to change. He is the enemy within. He is [Paul] Ryan, [Mitch] McConnell, and the Old Guard. They do not want change. ‘Out with the old, in with the new.'”

A close Ryan ally, Priebus was responsible for the GOP “autopsy” following the Romney-Ryan loss of 2012. One of its conclusions held that, to win elections, Republicans must embrace an immigration agenda that would import future voters who tend to overwhelmingly support Democrat policies. The Priebus manifesto argued against opposing amnesty and appealing to the Republican electorate’s “core constituency.”

“We must embrace and champion comprehensive immigration reform. If we do not, our Party’s appeal will continue to shrink to its core constituencies only,” the Priebus report stated.

By contrast, for years Savage has argued that Republican candidates should run campaigns on “borders, language, and culture.”

“I call him ‘Rinse,'” Savage said of Priebus, adding that’s “what Trump should do with his advice.”

Savage’s talk radio show, which is one of the most listened-to talk radio programs in the country, reaches an audience over 20 million listeners and is syndicated by over some 400 stations nationwide. This week, Savage will be inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame in the category of Spoken Word On-Air Personality.

Agreed!

Trump isn't joining the establishment; he IS the establishment. RINOs are now his underlings; the means to carry out his policies assuming they wish to hold on to their jobs.

Worst case scenario, remember: keep your friends close...

I think you nailed it. Reince seemed to me like he was a bit awestruck by Trump after he got to know him. Trump will be running the show.

That’s correct. His mother was Greek born in Sudan. His father’s family came from Germany.

Too damn funny.

keep your friends close, your enemies closer - Trump knows this. Also Rince stood by Trump fairly solidly when others bailed and he knows the ins and outs and has some political collateral. He is not a bad choice. Remember, Trump is a noob when it comes to politics.

I agree. Priebus is loyal .. he proved that in the election. If this calms the nervous GOP-e... well, good. Trump needs to WORK with the GOP-e in order to get anything done (please note, “work with” doesn’t mean “sell out to”!!!!). I think it’s a good choice. I’m happy that he seems to have jettisoned Christie (who’s tainted now by Bridgegate) and hope to see Rudy as AG.
I think anyone who has read "The Art of the Deal" knows that Trump can "work with" the GOPe and win. We've never had anyone with enough understanding of the "deal" to deal with them. Now we do.

I am correct Preibus was for Trump 4 th go around, and didn’t provide funds Trump raised. Preibus may have been for Rubio too.

Savage us getting worse all the time. His ego is totally out of control. He even asked Trump to go to Vegas ( I think that is where the ceremony is being held) to personally present a trophy or award or whatever to Savage. This ceremony is on Nov. 17th. I heard this and was like - if he wins the election, he sure won’t have time to do this. I thought it despicable for Savage to even ask.

Now, about RP. I suggest everyone do some research on the duties of a Chief-of-Staff. The position is basically one which oversees the WH staff. It used to be called the President’s private secretary. Of course, a president can all or deduct any duties from that person at will. However, this is probably a good fit for RP. He won’t be involved in enacting policy.

Yep! That’s EXACTLY what I was thinking! Pull him out of the RNC position and put a pro-Trump person in there!

I agree completely with Michael Savage. I wouldn’t trust that guy to walk my dog around the block. He’s almost as untrustworthy as that lying pasturd Paul Ryan.

At this point I do not believe our second guessing is going to do any good for mind or emotion. My belief is that we treat this like the end of the election where we turn off the MSM and support our president-elect. If he does not carry through on his contract to the people then we organize to effect change.

Until then he is not going to tip his hand. I must say have Preibus step down as chair give Trump the opportunity to put his own person and the mechanisms of the RNC in his control. From there the person can part waynwith many deadwood personnel.

Our problems are truely small if what we have to worry about is Reince Priebus being picked for Chief of Staff. For one thing, Reince Priebus seems like he played things fair and square during the primary then he supported Trump in the general election. He obviously came thru with GOTV efforts.

Imagine the sorts if things we’d have to worry about if Hillary had won. Now that would be some serious worrying.

Seems to me I read of him saying things I didn’t appreciate during the nomination process. Others were pretty critical of him too, so there must have been some basis for so many thinking in those terms.

Trump said he has been invaluable during the run up to the General Election. He would know better than I on that.

You see, I’m not butt hurt.

I supported the candidate who won.

You supported a loser. And you are angry because you think Reince
should have allowed a contested convention.

Don’t you ever get tired of being wrong and picking losers?
