Libs dropped the ball by focusing on degenerate social issues.

Why should The Harvard Business Review care about teaching the Democrat Party how to win elections?

Not to worry: The author clearly believes her libdem teammates will never get it.

What's funny is she damn well knows that Trump gets it.

And by writing this piece for public consumption, any open-minded GOPe dopes could use the info for the betterment of their team.

When it comes to politics, the Harvard Business Review leans globalist, but given it’s business minded emphasis, it will occassionally throw out a bone for fiscal responsibility.

Yup, the author’s father-in-law is probably a Millionaire Next Door, and she herself is what they’d call all hat, no cattle.

It’s hard to tell what value the author places on blood soup, but she emphasizes that her father-in-law detested it during his poor upbringing.

That’s borscht. It’s beet soup. I thought this guy ate blood soup. Made from blood. Not beets. Like he was sooo poor, all his mother could afford to make soup from was blood. Like she went to the butcher and he said, I have nothing for you, just some blood - here, you can make soup out of it.
I really hate phoney exaggerated journalist’s tricks designed to play on people’s emotions. Just write the truth, we’ll listen and form our own opinions...don’t patronize us.

The article makes some terrific points when its liberal bias, such as in the writer’s view of Hillary and Trump, isn’t seeping through.

That is correct. But the working class generally has a more extreme masculine/feminine divide than the upper-middle class, and a lot of celebrities are products for the broad masses more than the professional classes anyway.

She is an equal-opportunity insulter, dinging her liberal teammates just as badly as she dings Trump. She is more fair and balanced than that ahole megyn the maggot.

She’s a liberal, but she gets it sociologically.

Blood soup is peasant food from pretty much all over the world but mostly popular in Europe and Asia.

It is a marker of poverty, you are basic eating everything but the squeal or sometimes quack. What kind of blood soup he ate would depend on what part of the world his parents came from.

Meanwhile, the new small businessman in the Republican is harassed by the zoning, building code and other regulations of the local Chamber of Commerce types. So the new entrepreneur class is trained to be anti-Republican because Republicans are seen as trying to put the new business out of business.

The Chamber of Commerce is Crony Crapitalism at the local level.

They should be dissed and ignored!

Odd, I remember in the 80’s and 90’s that having a United Way Chairmanship or Chamber annual position was the kiss of death to a resume. It was the pointer of who was the most expendable person in any company. Usually it went to the two-fers.

Hey Mike - I hear all the Presidential candidates talking about the “right” of “free” college and how college is necessary to function in our society. I have not heard a single candidate opine about the necessity of training for the “trades.” Why do you suppose our “anointed ones” have such a myopic view of the blue-collar class even as they court their votes?”

_______________________

This is a perspective of ignorance.

Most trades have been co-opted by two year colleges that used to be called Vocational Schools. So you have to go to college to be a plumber or an electrician or a nurse or a beautician, or a childcare worker.

Cronyism and the Clinton Administration changed Voc to College.

IIRC

>>Unfair? She was overqualified? She only got to where she did because she was the wife of a guy who became governor and then President.

As I like to say, HRC got where she is the old-fashioned way - on her husband’s coat tails.

And a lot of successful professional women realize that.
