President-elect Donald Trump wants to attend the UFC’s big debut at Madison Square Garden Saturday night, but the Secret Service is trying to talk him out of it, law enforcement sources told The Post.

If he doesn’t go, he should issue a press release stating why he isn’t going. The message needs to get out about the ongoing thuggery of the left. Right now, the media are full steam ahead trying to claim that it is open season on minorities since the election, that we are seeing a wave of beatings and intimidation in the name of Trump.

This is a man who is just as comfortable, perhaps even more so, hanging out with plumbers and carpenters as executive powersuits in the boardroom. People still want to know he’s one of them.

Man, how can you not like a President who wants to go see UFC 205. Greatest card ever and in Madison Square Garden. I want to see Wonderboy Thompson beat Woodley. I know Conner will win his bout so I’m not so revved up about that one.
Trump should send his regrets, to clear out the risk of a deliberate attack, then go.
UFC coming to MSG is a big deal. And it would do the rest of us - and the world- good to see a president who isn’t a metrosexual and only gets to eat cheeseburgers when his domineering wife is out of town.
He should go...and personally kick anyone’s a** if they try to mess with him.
