Now that the dust has settled, Trump is projected to win 306 electoral votes against Hillarys 232 (according to Wikipedia). SOUNDS LIKE A LANDSLIDE TO ME!

Maybe you should remind your liberal niece that the father of the Orlando gay nightclub shooter was sitting behind Hillary at one of her Florida rallies.
Good point. I voted for Cruz in primary looking for an effective conservative, but whoever the nominee was they were in for the street fight of their life.
Some commentator said a few weeks ago that a conventional candidate having a bad week from such an assault would start moderating their message in response and slide further from there.
As an outsider Trump might have chosen a 3rd party or even dem instead of Republican party on which to run.
We all have the hindsight now we didn’t before of course, but that being said. we’re damn well fortunate to have him on our side.
Popular vote means nothing, but it gives the Democrats a talking point to cling to.
I keep pointing out that even if Hillary somehow manages to hold on to her very slim lead in the popular vote after the 8,000,000 or so remaining votes are counted (mostly military and absentee) she will not win the popular vote. At most she will have a plurality of less than 45% of the popular vote.
To put things in perspective, if Trump had won anything less than 50% of the Electoral votes he would not have won the election. It would have gone to the House to decide.

It would have to be more then “a few electors”, 37 to be exact to “deny him the presidency”. But whoops, it won’t throws it into the House where he likely wins! It would take something like 42 electors (If she currently has 228 electoral votes !) switching to Hellary. Not going to happen!
Also there were two Rat electors who have already said they wouldn’t vote for Hellary. So does she really have 228? We will know soon.
Excellent comment. This is exactly why the electoral college was enacted. To protect us from that sort of thing!!
What do you want to bet TIME makes someone like Julian Assange (or James Comey) man of the year? Never Trump.
I just hope that we keep election in mind in the future when we are treated to predictions by polls, the MSM, the pundits, career politicians and, yes “Republican strategists”. We need to learn to go with our guts more often.
I love being on the winning side for a change! :)
WOLVERINES!
How many states did he win?
“Ive not heard this reported .... is this official official?”
No. This is a bogus article.
See my post #115.
I am now offically from a redneck state !
Michigan gives Trump the other 16 EV.
This should quiet the protesters/rioters right?
People often forget that electors are not neutral. There are different slates of electors in each state for each candidate in a presidential election. So by winning, say, Michigan, the slate of electors supporting the Republicans will vote in the Electoral College.

Regards,
The mediots were loudly proclaiming Trump MUST win Florida or it was all over. All the mediots saying that should be fired!
