(COREY SIPKIN/NEW YORK DAILY NEWS) A record number of anguished calls flooded suicide prevention hotlines just before and after Donald Trump secured his shocking presidential victory.
The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline received 660 calls between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. Wednesday — 2½ times the average.
“It clearly is and was an indication that there’s a lot of anxiety and fear around the election,” director John Draper told the Daily News.
The hotline often receives an uptick in calls during major events like natural disasters or even elections.

This is remarkable. We’ve always known it, but this is mass hysteria. Part of me thinks this is all manufactured media agitprop, but I see people I know on Facebook, almost senior citizens like me, acting like lunatics. It’s shocking.

I went to the Socialist Mecca of northern Arizona today. While I was enjoying my free Veteran’s Day meal, we were treated to some delightful whining from some snowflakes who were melting down while chomping their tofu. Anyway, they did come up with a brilliant idea. Since the Beast from Planet Clintoonie won the “popular vote”, they decided that it would only be fair for Trump to do two years and then hand the presidency off to Clintoonie for the last two years. I wonder why none of the rest of us ever thought of that. ROTFL!!! I guess you have to be “educated” and have a college “diploma”.

Spineless cowards. When Obummer won in 2012, I said a few choice words about the lefties and let it go. never threatened suicide, never thought once about moving out of our country. In 2008, it was a forgone conclusion that Senator Juan McCain wasn’t winning the electoral count.
Just give them giant sized crayolas, coloring books, pajamas, safe havens and hot cocoa. That should allay their concerns.
If I were a volunteer at the Suicide Prevention Hotline and one of those idiots called I would just tell them to off themselves..cleanse out the gene pool of stupid

these kids don’t know what scary is. when I was a kid living in Montana I remember looking across the plains and seeing summer heat lightning in the direction of the minutemen missile silos and wondering if it was a launch not knowing that in the summer you could have lightning with out a rain storm.
