In his Friday column, New York Times columnist David Brooks speculates about a new political dichotomy and writes that President-elect Donald Trump will resign or be impeached within a year.
From Brooks column:
Finally, it seems important to be humbled and taught by this horrific election result. Trumps main problem in governing is not going to be some fascistic ideology; his main problem is going to be his own attention span, ignorance and incompetence. If hes left to bloviate while others are left to run the country and push through infrastructure plans, maybe things wont be disastrous.

The New York Times Co. on Wednesday reported net income for the third quarter hit $406,000, or breakeven on a earnings per share basis, compared with income of $9.42 million, or 6 cents per share during the same quarter a year ago...
He must not like the crease of Trump’s pant.
In the immortal words of Obie The Lame Duck, "I won." Deal with it, Dave.
This article is a leftist warning as are the current “protests” (read riots). The left will do anything to remove Trump including his assassination.
i thought David Brooks was their ‘conservative’ columnist.
I can't wait to see how many restaurants step up and tell GrubHub to remove their restaurants from the GH database...and further...tell them they'll be sued if they use their business names in any sort of promotion or advertisement.
I don't know how much it would hurt such a restaurant but plenty of places have survived for decades before GrubHub was invented.
Brooks is the guy who fell in love with the crease in 0bama’s trousers, or maybe it was the crease in his a$$, I don’t remember.
The man is delusional.
Aren’t he and his boyfriend involved in Hillary’s satanist pedo ring?
Don’t react to these things, they are just bait so they can feed off our tears, this guys full of @#$# and having a baby fit, let the baby have his bottle.
In his unhinged, lunatic dreams!
Never going to happen, Mr. Brooks.
These limp-wristed RINO morons have been so consistently wrong in their prognostications about Trump that you’d think they’d eventually learn to stop prognosticating.
No, David, President Donald John Trump will be “caught up to God and His throne” with the rest of us, and you can have Paul Ryan as your President for the first half of the Great Tribulation.
There will be outright bloodshed if that happens.
Plus, if it happens, don't doubt for one second it will be a setup to make it look like the assassin was a Right wing nut.
Read "Enemies Foreign And Domestic" by Matthew Bracken (Travis McGee on FR).
Don't think that someone like Soros isn't already getting things in place for something just like this.
Um, with a republican house and senate impeachment and removal seems, shall we say.....remote. Does Brooks understand how this works?
The phrase “...and hear the lamentations of their women,” clearly applies to David Brooks.
David Brooks is one of those boring New York pseudo-intellectual,self-absorbed exhibitionist
that likes to masturbating in public in the middle of Times Square ...
then try’s to call it insightful groundbreaking performance art
instead of what it is
just an old pervert loser jacking off in public for shock value
EPIC BUTTHURT!! EPIC!!! NEVER SAW SUCH TANTRUMS IN
MY LIFE!!
David who?
I want Trump to be like Reagan. The big picture guy. The one who maps out a broad plan, then hires the right people around him to work out the details. I’m sure when he builds a tower like the Trump tower in Chicago, he didn’t go in and try to be the architect, he hired someone good to do it. I’m sure he said this is the ROI we need, I want a Hotel, condos restaurant bar, and then had someone give him the plans for approval. A policy wonk like Clinton would be the worst.
