While some pundits are declaring the Clinton political dynasty dead, sources tell us that it is far from over. Chelsea Clinton is being groomed for the New York seat held by Rep. Nita Lowey.
Chelsea could run for the seat in NYC’s 17th Congressional District once Lowey, a respected, 79-year-old career politician with nearly 30 years in office, decides to retire, we have exclusively learned.
Lowey’s district includes parts of Rockland and Westchester counties and, conveniently, Chappaqua, the Clinton family home base.

Podesta’s response is brief but leaves his thoughts very clear.
“You are perfecting your skills for understatement,” he says.
CHELSEA should be grooming herself for prison. Didn’t she break the law?
I think stealing from a charity to pay for one’s wedding is a felony.
BTW: The wedding was $3 million. Did she steal the entire $3 million?

They have handlers to make their decisions for them.

I figured that was their plan when they proceeded to trot her out there. She's downright stupid. Of course, that sorta qualifies her for congress.

This Congressional District includes Chappaqua, not Manhattan. The Clintons recently bought a 2nd Chappaqua house, basically next door to their own house there (as opposed to their DC house), that they are redoing (without the required permits, but I digress).
Chelsea and her family would have to move to Chappaqua for her to run for this seat. I don’t see Ivanka moving.
[She’s homely, but at least she didn’t inherit the cankles.]
