Its not so easy being a member of the 1 percent if you live at Trump Tower.
Residents of the sleek Fifth Avenue skyscraper where Trump lives in the penthouse, based his TV show The Apprentice and launched his candidacy are having a hard time getting in and out of the building thanks to crowds of supporters, protesters and security.
They cant get into their own homes without being stopped and frisked and having to show ID, said a top broker who is already fielding calls from residents planning to move out.
These are wealthy people. They dont need this, and they cant take it any longer. They no longer want to stay there. Some of them are already planning on moving out, and theyll decide later whether or not they want to sell, the broker said.

Thanks for that map.
The problem with the TFR is that it has shut down the VFR corridor over the Hudson river.
See those errors on the river? It's showing the path for what's called the "Statue of Liberty Tour". Small planes could fly right over the river down the west side, and back up the right side. You're below the airport traffic, and even below the tops of the skyscrapers.
I've never flown it, but a few friends have done it. I'm not sure what procedures are required after 9/11, but it was still open until the TFR went into effect.
Just drop a couple hundred water balloons and watch the snowflakes scatter.
Oh my gosh, I grew up on Snail Lake, and had friends who lived in North Oaks.
Had no idea Mondale lived there!
Don’t they have a concierge who knows the residents? I don’t see why he can’t just tell the security/police they don’t need to stop and frisk those residents.
Simple solution. Call their friends in high places to get the mobs moved to another location.
His election just raised their property values at least 10%.
This was back in the 80’s. He may no longer live there.
I appreciate your first hand reports, Thanks!
Speaking of which .... I haven’t heard a WORD from Mark Cuban ... the one who promised that after Trump faced humiliating defeat he’d be bankrupt within 10 years.
I’ll accept that and I should have qualified my remarks though I believe we did slink away and did lose heart. The Teaparty movement that started so strongly quickly faded and what is more became mercenary. The system approach you mention finally paid off but just barely.
For all that we have been put through we should have done more and much more but we had to go back to work and make a living. We did not have organizers and financial support.
One thing I fear and I have seen it many times is that we get comfortable and let it all roll back. Until there is a showdown that we win decisively the left will never rest.
Water balloons.. That could be considered law breaking if they are tossed repeatedly out the window.
How about rain? Man-made rain. Attach a garden hose to the sink and blast it out the window. When everyone gets wet and cold they will head home for the comfort of the flannel pajamas in front of the fireplace at mommy’s house.
Cops come to the door just claim draining the water bed to fix a leak
Yes I am that old
I’m thinking it will stop with the first “wintery mix” or snow. What’s the weather been there this week? No rain, no well below freezing temperatures, people are willing to be out.
They know the liberal fascist mobs could deliberately burn it down.
The protocol would be TO SEND IN THE HAZMAT TEAM AT TRIPLE PAY OUT OF MY POCKET BEFORE MY FAMILY AND STAFF SET FOOT IN THE WHITEHOUSE!!!
Then send in the "Bug Hunters" to search for raghead tech crap.

“I work a few blocks away from the Trump Tower and all this week I’ve been walking by it. Since Tuesday, it’s been an absolute zoo around that area. 56th Street between Madison and Park is completely shut down to through traffic. Concrete barriers are going up all around the tower. Huge dump trucks full of sand block the front entrance of it. Massive police presence with some of them in battle fatigues with machine guns. A no-fly zone has been established over all of Manhattan!

Thanks for the on-the-scene report!
What have you heard thru the grapevine on whether residents want to move from there?
Things will settle down once Trump gets to Washington. Though I believe the concrete barriers and other security measures are there to stay.
What the article doesn’t tell us is that these are probably NYC uber wealthy lefties who were going to move to Canada anyway if Trump won.
The useless lair media continues to make up sh** that has no basis in fact. Why anyone would trust them to “report” anything true is beyond me. They are chronic liars, unprofessional morons and degenerates. Who cares what these losers say about anything. Journalism is dead. What buffoons. They waste trees.
