All the talking heads including Hillary’s campaign staff were Dreaming OUT LOUD of Mr Trump being the Candidate, they were POSITIVE Hillary would wipe the floor with him, they WANTED MR TRUMP!

There were even some (EX-)FReepers who were positing that Trump was a “stalking Horse” for Hillary, that he was going to bail when it would have been too late to replace him, that the DNC had put him in the race to split up the vote, etc etc etc, blah, blah, blah, blah.

Yep - she and hers expected He would be the easy one to beat - and probably ended up with the only one of the bunch that could beat her.
IOW, Hillary and her campaign staff and the DNC, got what she they wanted, and as the saying goes: “Careful what you wish for; you just might get it”.
She, and democrats, got what they wanted, and they got their asses handed to them.
In any case, she is the one that lost the election, and the DNC lost the election too, by insuring that she would be their nominee. Worst decision if their primaries’ history. They didn’t think that the people would remember who Hillary is, and where hopeful that there would be enough young and ignorant people who were not around when she and her husband were using their positions to get away with their many crimes.
Mostly, Hillary lost the election because she concentrated on making the campaign about the sexual harassment claims against Trump. The vast majority of the commercials she and the DNC ran, were about Trumps alleged abuse of women. Meanwhile, I don’t really recall any commercials that she ran with content regarding the real issues, such as the economy and border security and e-mail “mishandling” and foreign affairs and her support for late-term abortions, and many more. It’s was about 90% anti-Trump nonsense, while the issues went mostly unmentioned.
You can fool some of the people all of the time, all of the people some of the time, but you can’t fool all of the people all of the time.
Hillary has learned her lesson for the next time. But in another life. ;)
