We witnessed this in Ferguson, and noted it when BLM and its supporters were permitted by some unknown entities to shut down their own town and roads across America with impunity (#BLM -- who advocated "Pigs-in-a-Blanket" and "What do we want? DEAD COPS!" now has corporate sponsors!)
Can it be argued that Americans were first conditioned to accept illegal degrees of massive demonstrations of "civil disobedience" when millions of ILLEGAL INVADERS began openly and fearlessly marching in major US cities with absolute impunity? (thanks again, Dubya Bush!)
Thanks to a rogue media and a Mayor who sponsored a "base" from which 'Occupy Wall St' could disrupt commerce and movement, a public perception was cemented that Anarchist-Punks could and should be given sanctuary from law enforcement. Moreover, these anarchists found a willing ally in a Media that reinforced an entitlement to impede that same commerce and freedom of movement in New York City.
The power of suggestion and message of a supportive MSM: OWS was "righteous" AND its protests were in the name of a noble cause. Never mind the symbolism of defecation, urination, and vomit on public property and NYPD police cars and disrespect, inconsideration, posing tangible physical dangers to the general public.
Q: How far will the anti-Trump "demonstrators" be allowed to disrupt commerce and freedom of movement during the next months until Donald Trump is sworn in as President?
That the President-Elect was required to park dump trucks in front of the Trump Towers as a barricade to prevent violence and defacing of private property is a disgrace, and speaks volumes about the extent to which a certain demo of "protesters" are now allowed by Leftist politicians to violate the Civil Rights of others.
