First time since 1936. The County used to be almost all-white; it's now got am plurality of Asian-Americans-- very educated, very law-abiding, but very liberal.
And the Dems got supermajorities in both houses of the Legislature, which means they can raise taxes even more.
Might as well secede, this place is so out of step with logic and reality.
A sobering thought: one out of every eight Americans lives in California.
