This was my most important issue
Bigly.
IF the GOPe types get on board. I expect shenanigans.
I would not put it above grahmnesty to switch parties along with another rino to throw the senate to the dems. Also don’t trust McConnell to keep the party in line until The Donald is sworn in.
I guarantee the “Progressives” will fight any, and every, Trump nominee like never before.
I believe that this will be President Trumps’ (I LOVE to say that!!) FIRST big challenge for the candidate. If he elects a conservative, Constitutional justice, Bob’s yer uncle. If not, it’s gonna be just “more of the same”...
Senate tradition requiring a 60 vote supermajority to approve justices. If Republicans end that practice, as Democrats did for lower court judges and other nominees in 2013
And that should be the Very First thing on the Agenda
Payback is a Bitch!!!
Never forget the RINOs wanted move on Obama’s pick before the election.
Look for a power seeking RINO sh**bag to caucus with Democrats.
Mike Lee’s brother would also be a good nominee. He’s already a supreme court justice in Utah and is every bit as Conservative as his brother.
Scalia’s revenge!
Trump wll have two very important Supreme Court appointments to make at an early stage of his first term in office: the late Antonin Scalia, may he Rest in Peace, and Ruth Bader Ginzburg, who, by her own declaration, will soon be moving to New Zealand.
These rinos are slow learners but Trump is not to be F’ed with. Just ask soon to be ex speaker Ryan.
Ginzberg will not retire. As long as she has a pulse the rats will wheel her near corpse into chambers. She can sleep in chambers and Kagen can hold her hand up to vote.
Democrats will filibuster any nomination.
“Look for a power seeking RINO sh**bag to caucus with Democrats.”
Won’t happen, Mark Kirk was defeated, and now we have the prospect of that opportunistic turd from WVA “becoming a Republican.” I imagine “Minority Leader Schumer” is out crapping bagels this morning.
Bingo. Nuclear option.
