I am greatly pleased with Free Republic's responsiveness last night. While there were a VERY FEW timeouts and/or 500 Server Errors, for the most part, FR weathered perhaps the biggest election surge EVER. The election thread is over 10000 posts!

Our counterpart, Democrat Underground, crashed all night.

This Free Republic is a very important website, and it is technically sound. It proved both points again last night.
