There’s also the 2nd most important commandment: To love our neighbor as ourselves. From what I understand, Jewish scholars also use that argument to condemn abortion. That baby is our neighbor. “Neighbor” is the Greek “plesion” meaning “fellow man” in context.

Christ Himself introduced this concept in Luke 10 in the parable of the Good Samaritan. Samaritans were hated and reviled by the Jews, yet Christ made one the hero of His parable, because he came to the aid of somebody who was mistreated by criminals and left for dead.

Christians strive to come to the aid of babies who are being murdered by those who are criminals in the eyes of God.

God’s wrath will never be quenched for committing such dastardly behavior as murdering the most innocent among us. Unless they repent.

Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

You shall not murder.

The end of the republic was written in stone on January 22, 1973.

“Surely at the command (mouth) of the LORD it came upon Judah, to remove them from His sight because of the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he had done, and also for the innocent blood which he shed, for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; AND THE LORD WOULD NOT FORGIVE.” (All caps mine) 2 Kings 24:3 & 4

This was a group of people who refused under any circumstance to repent.

Ephesians 1:3-4 says the following:
3 Blessed be the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ;
4 According as he has chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love.

There is much more of purpose in our creation, besides the natural body.
God has chosen us before the foundation of the world and this is also emphasized in Genesis 2.

Genesis 2:4-6, 9
4 And now, behold, I say unto you, that these are the generations of the heaven, and of the earth, when they were created in the day that I the Lord God made the heaven and the earth, and every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew;
5 For I, the Lord God, created all things of which have spoken spiritually, before they were naturally upon the face of the earth; for I, the Lord God, had not caused it to rain upon the face of the earth.
6 And I, the Lord God, had created all the children of men, and not yet a man to till the ground, for in heaven created I them, and there was not yet flesh upon the earth, neither in the water, neither in the air;
9 Nevertheless, all things were before created, but spiritually were they created and made, according to My Word.

If we were created spiritually, before we were created physically, and if we were spoken spiritually, that every human being that has ever walked this earth knew God and His Son, from the beginning of time, and all other religions are, simply, man-made.

God created every single person spiritually BEFORE anything else existed.

Hillary believes Partial Birth Abortion is ok. I don’t need to prove that is wrong, it’s murder.

As an ordained minister, I am forced to agree.

That date is the reason I gave up my youthful desire to become a lawyer.

King Manasseh did repent and was reinstated (after being in Babylon in prison) as king and upon return destroyed the altars. The promised judgment occurred when his great grandson again sacrificed the children. The invasion was then completed.

God did allow a great revival through Manasseh’s grandson, Josiah. So I am hoping He allows a great worldwide revival before the Great Tribulation.

I use the New American Standard Version which was translated as close to the original Hebrew as possible but not confusing (Youngs literal is...literal).

4 This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made earth and heaven. 5 Now no shrub of the field was yet in the earth, and no plant of the field had yet sprouted, for the Lord God had not sent rain upon the earth, and there was no man to cultivate the ground. 6 But a mist used to rise from the earth and water the whole surface of the ground. 7 Then the Lord God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. 8 The Lord God planted a garden toward the east, in Eden; and there He placed the man whom He had formed. 9 Out of the ground the Lord God caused to grow every tree that is pleasing to the sight and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Youngs:

4 These [are] births of the heavens and of the earth in their being prepared, in the day of Jehovah God’s making earth and heavens;
5 and no shrub of the field is yet in the earth, and no herb of the field yet sprouteth, for Jehovah God hath not rained upon the earth, and a man there is not to serve the ground,
6 and a mist goeth up from the earth, and hath watered the whole face of the ground.
7 And Jehovah God formeth the man — dust from the ground, and breatheth into his nostrils breath of life, and the man becometh a living creature.
8 And Jehovah God planteth a garden in Eden, at the east, and He setteth there the man whom He hath formed;
9 and Jehovah God causeth to sprout from the ground every tree desirable for appearance, and good for food, and the tree of life in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Then you may be as distressed as I. I just read that Wheaton College students voted for Hillary in their student newspaper poll...

That will be an interesting question, whether New Testament events will completely parallel the time line of the old. I’ve always taken Old Testament events as object lessons, rather than as some code book to decipher to cheat the unpredictability of New Testament events.

That might not have been scientific. Maybe those who wanted Hillary were more inclined to be outspoken, versus those who wanted Donald had a more prudential point of view.

It’s more like, God is still in control of the nations, and as all good fathers are, is consistent with consequences for breaking His rules.

He warned the Israelites that they were not given the Promised Land because they were better than the natives, but because the natives were burning their kids alive. He said if they did that, they would suffer the same consequence. Guess what? The Native Americans did the same thing. Human sacrifice. And the Aztecs? The Mayans? Anyway. Hopefully DT will learn this truth and overturn Roe.
